The Philadelphia Fever, established in 2012, is a women’s NCAA-compliant team playing in the new Women’s Premier Soccer League (WPSL) Elite League. The team is built on local talent and features the Delaware Valley’s best collegiate players as well as former pros.
The Fever will play their inaugural season at the highest level of women’s professional soccer in America. Of the eight teams in the new WPSL Elite League, the Fever is just one of two NCAA-compliant teams playing in the 2012 season.
